Clutch Grabwell

This is a band that inspires a cult following. This producer has been addicted to Clutch Grabwell’s music for years, and they are one of the original bands to inspire and influence the idea of the MRR series.  At first glance, there are great songs, a driving rhythm, and excellent musicians. But this is no average great band; add to the mix Lennie Peterson’s “rock trombone” and Andrew Hickman’s  plugged-in saxophone and therein lies some of the unique magic that is Clutch Grabwell.  There is Mark Campbell’s tremendous guitar work, brother Jeff Campbell’s animated bass, and Steve Pappone’s drums; rounding out the picture are John Boyle’s hardy, solid vocals presented in a style in which only John can.  Go ahead…just try being at one of their live shows and not end up in the front dancing. 

We filmed Clutch Grabwell on location at the Plantation Club way at the beginning of the series and are due to film them again any time now.
