Peter’s broadly creative being shows through in all his music.  A widely-read NPR junkie, he has a rich, lyrical vocabulary and knows how to use it.  His songs poetically incorporate the range of human life, from small moments to wide concepts, and his musical skill is a delight to savor.  Whether he is solo in our studio, playing on the subway, playing with other musicians (particularly David Goodrich), or rocking out on one of his CDs, he is consistently outstanding.  Peter challenges the listener to think, understand, and feel something deep. Peter has appeared with all sorts of artists, including Emmylou Harris, Richard Thompson, and many more.

We were very fortunate to have Peter, a Wisconsin native, visit us in our Shrewsbury studio. Parts of our raw studio footage is used on the  enhanced portion of his  Ten Thousand Mornings CD.
